I am proud to be an East Texas native, born and raised in Longview, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2010 with a B.A. in Chemistry and a minor in Business Administration. Following college, I moved to Dallas to attend dental school, graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2014. From there, I completed a year-long General Practice Residency in Denver, Colorado before returning to Texas to practice general dentistry. After five years in general practice, I decided to continue my education and returned to Dallas to complete a three-year Orthodontic Residency at Baylor College of Dentistry. I finally made it back to East Texas in 2023 and am so grateful to be back home and part of this great community!
I believe I offer a unique perspective to patients seeking orthodontic care. My personal orthodontic journey has included everything from expanders to orthognathic surgery. There are few things that I will recommend that I haven’t personally experienced myself! My experience as a general dentist emphasized for me the importance of having a healthy and stable foundation for lifelong oral health, and my experience as a long-term orthodontic patient has made me empathetic and understanding to others’ orthodontic journeys.
Outside of work, I enjoy getting outside and exploring new places with my husband, Jason, reading a great book, trying a new recipe (especially if it’s something sweet), and spending time with my nieces and nephews. I look forward to meeting you!
